Crochet Stitches & Abbreviations 

  • MR: magic ring

  • Sc: single crochet

  • Sc inc: single crochet increase

  • Sc dec: single crochet decrease

  • Dc: double crochet Dc inc: double crochet increase

  • Dc dec: double crochet decrease

  • Tr: treble crochet

  • Tr dec: treble crochet decrease

  • 5-dc bobble: 5 double crochet stitches together in one stitch

  • Ch: chain slst: slip stitch

Notes 

  • Finished Size (one size) fits cat neck: 22-24cm (8.7-9.5"), head circumference 23-25 cm (9-9.8"), distance between 2 ears 4-5 cm (1.6-2"), weight 4.4 lb-6.6 lb (2 - 3 kg).

  • Pattern is in standard US terms.

  • Learn how to change colors in crochet.

  • Always leave a 2 – 3 inch tail end at the end of each row

  • The rows don't end slst, that is a spiral crochet
