Crochet Stitches & Abbreviations 

  • MR: magic ring

  • Sc: single crochet

  • Sc inc: single crochet increase

  • Sc dec: single crochet decrease

  • Dc: double crochet Dc inc: double crochet increase

  • Dc dec: double crochet decrease

  • Tr: treble crochet

  • Tr dec: treble crochet decrease

  • 5-dc bobble: 5 double crochet stitches together in one stitch

  • Ch: chain slst: slip stitch

Notes 

  • Finished Size (one size) fits cat neck: 22-24cm (8.7-9.5"), head circumference 23-25 cm (9-9.8"), distance between 2 ears 4-5 cm (1.6-2"), weight 4.4 lb-6.6 lb (2 - 3 kg).

Work a slip knot

  • R1: MR, 7sc

  • R2: 7 sc inc

  • R3: 7 dc inc

  • R4: 2ch, [dc in next st, dc inc in next st, dc in next st, (dc, FPdc) in next st] x 7, slst

  • R5: 2ch, [dc in next 2sts, dc inc in next st, dc in next 2sts, (dc, FPdc) in next st] x 7, slst

  • R6: 2ch, [dc in next 3sts, dc inc in next st, dc in next 3sts, (dc, FPdc) in next st] x 7, slst

  • R7: 2ch, (dc in next 9sts, FPdc) x 7, slst

  • R8: 2ch, (skip the first st, dc in next 8sts, FPdc) x 7, slst

  • R9: 2ch, (skip the first st, dc in next 7sts, FPdc) x 7, slst

  • R3: turn, ch, sc in the first st, skip 2sts, (6dc in next st, skip 2sts, sc in next st)x20 (141)

  • R4: turn, sc in the first st, 3ch, (sc in the next st, 3ch) x 139, sc in the last st, cut the yarn

Bow (Beige)

  • R1: 19ch, work in 2nd ch from the hook, sc in each ch (18)

  • R2-9: ch, sc in each st (18), cut the yarn

Hem of bow (White)

  • Repeat around (sc, 3ch, skip 1st)

  • Use a long yarn strap in the middle to create a bow.

Ball (Begie)

  • R1: MR, 6sc into MR (6)

  • R2: sc inc in each st (18)

  • R3: sc in each st (18)

  • R4: BPsc in each st (18)

  • R5: sc in each st (18)
