• Work a slip knot

• R3 turn, 2ch, dc inc, 3dc, dc inc (7)

• R4 turn, 2ch, dc inc, 5dc, dc inc (9)

• R5 turn, 2ch, dc inc, 7dc, dc inc (11)

• R6 turn, 2ch, 2dc inc, 7dc, 2dc inc (15)

• R7-16 turn, 2ch, 15dc (15)

• R17 turn, 2ch, 2dc2tog, 7dc, 2dc2tog (11)

Hat Brim (White)

• R23: Back brim: do sc in each stitch (22)

• Front brim: do 2sc in each stitch (44)

• R24 In front brim, 5ch, sc in 2nd, 4ch, sc in 3rd….continue do the same till the end, slst, cut the yarn, fasten off

Leaf (Green)

• Leaf 1: 5ch, sc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc in next 2sts, (1hdc, 1sc, 2ch, slst in 2nd ch from hook, 1sc, 1hdc) in last st

• Continue crocheting on the opposite side of the chain: hdc in next 2sts, sc in last st, slst.

• Don’t cut the yarn but continue crochet 6ch. Work at 2nd ch from hook to crochet leaf 2.

• Leaf 2: sc, hdc in next 2sts, (hdc, 2sc, hdc) in last st, hdc in next 2sts, sc, 2ch, slst in 2nd ch from hook, slst, cut the yarn, leave long end for sewing, fasten off

• (Mint green) 20ch

• (Purple) 3ch, (5-dc popcorn, slst) in 3rd ch from hook, cut the yarn, fasten off. Attaching to leave.

• R2 Change color, work at the first stitch, 2ch, 54dc(54)
